so maybe by starting a book of the month club, i'll start reading again. before moving to CA, i had read only one book in the 3 years since t-man was born (Dan Brown's "Davinci Code" - which i loved). between working full time and the kids i just haven't found the time and the books to capture my interest.
i've now been in CA for almost 5 months and have now read 2 books. not great - but better. on my september trip to visit assi in LA, she lent me Dan Brown's "Angels and Demons" which i tore thru and then this past saturday my parents watched the kids while hubby and i had a hot and heavy date night (read: after a little shopping and dinner at P.F. Chang's we found ourselves at borders) and i picked up"The Society" by Michael Palmer. i finished reading it tonight so it was pretty good. i might read some more of his stuff. i stumbled upon his book because he's based in boston and i was trying to track down an author of murder mysteries i've heard interviewed on Matty in the Morning who lives in my old hood of w. roxbury. (by the way, i can't remember that author's name so if anybody knows - please comment!!!)
anyway - i'll make that book my November book. if anyone has any good suggestions for december - pass them on!

December books - Baldacci's Camel Club - recent one is Stone Cold, but you have to read the first two to follow. John might enjoy them as they geared to men - espionage, murder, cover ups, politics, Wash DC!
hmmmm - maybe i should put that on my wish list for santa. thanks for the recommendation!!!
