Home for the holidays???
Ok - so i was talking to my mother-in-law yesterday and they will be in the denver airport around the same time as our lay over on the way to boston this weekend. we're hoping to meet up so i went online to view our upcoming itinerary when low and behold - my flight wasn't there! (hubby and the kids are already booked from our flight out here in the summer) back in october, i had booked just my flight using frequent flyer miles. the airline had an issue charging my credit card the $10 fee online so i had to call the airline directly. they had to attempt it a few times (some system was down) but in the end, they told me it went through. well it didn't go through and looking through my emails - i never received a confirmation! i was freaking out - i was imaging having to pay thousand of dollars to get out of here and be home with my family for the holidays. fortunately, there was still availability on the flights, i was still able to use frequent flyer miles, and the airline waived the $75 fee down to $10 - so i'm all set. even though it all worked out - my heart is still racing with the thought that i almost showed up at the airport saturday morning only to discover that i didn't have a flight booked!!!! that would have been a holiday travel nightmare!!!

I don't know what to say, but I feel obligated to say something. Oh, here's something, what are you doing in Fresno?
The bright side of Fresno is that housing costs are relatively reasonable, and you're never more than 3-4 hours from where you actually want to be (San Fran, LA, Tahoe).
That reminds me, my parents have a cabin in Tahoe that I could probably talk them into renting to you for next to nothing. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll work on it.
Stay cool.
how the hell did you track me down??? did BC give me up??? as for fresno, that is a long story that i'll have to fill you in on offline.
never been to tahoe - so we may be interested in taking you up on that in the new year.
any plans to get back to LA soon? if so, let me know and we'll happily make the drive to visit (ie get the hell out of here)
stay warm ;)
