Homesick, Part deux
moving along with this part deux theme - i'm homesick again this weekend. it just doesn't feel like labor day here. i'm use to everyone escaping for the long weekend and celebrating the last official days of summer. instead of being on the cape, hubby is working today, it is triple digits again (in september!?!?), and the city came and picked up our trash today! what city employees are working on labor day!?!? it just feels like a regular old monday :(

Yes, you are missing fall in New England, but keep in mind that in our not too distant future we will be shoveling snow, cleaning sidewalks, dealing with black ice and being housebound with the kiddies while you will still be in sunny CA... can I come visit??? -H
you can visit anytime you want, but i must warn you that D informed me the other day that it is beautiful here in October, November, and then again in March and April. i was like "what the @#$@#$? 4 months out of the whole year!!!! way to talk it up"
