Scenes from the big apple...
well i didn't have any manolos to wear and i couldn't enjoy any cosmos before, during, or after - but i did make it to the movie theatre with 2 girlfriends to see "Sex in the City." and surprisingly, i enjoyed it alot. i thought it picked up well from where it left off, stayed true to the characters, and wrapped things up nicely at the end. it did seem though more of a solid series finale than a movie. anyone else seen it yet? thoughts?

I am going to see it tonight - i can not wait!!!
Off topic: have you thought about what you're going to rename the blog when you move? Maybe something OMGthankGodIgotoutofthere dot com?
Or Ihavetheworld'smostphotogenicfamilynyahnyahnyah dot org?
hmd - you'll have to report back with your own review! hope you enjoy it.
b - way off topic! no - i haven't thought about it yet. i have thought about wrapping this blog up and ending it. but haven't decided if i will start a new one. i started this one in the first place because so many people in boston were wondering about this opposite end of the country that i was going to and it seemed like a bit of an adventure. i have discovered that it has been a useful way to keep family and friends up to date with our going ons instead of sending out status reports - but i don't know how interesting our going ons really are and i have no idea how many people actually read my ramblings - so i don't know if i'll start a new blog or not. maybe i'll ask people to see what they think - if they'll actually read it...
ps - i am supposed to take the photogenic family comment as a compliment, right? ;) xoxo
I 100% agree with your review. why did they introduce a new character - the assistant? Why not have more interaction with the 4 girls? In any case, it did tie up the series nicely and left you with that warm fuzzy feeling… and I shed a few tears myslef.
On a side note, I ask the mr. how many men he thought would be there before we went. he guess 40%, I guessed 15% - we were both wrong.. I counted about 5 men (2 of which were together) out of about 250 people...
by the way - i think you should keep up your blog. you got me started and i will quit if you do - and you will have that on your shoulders (he he he) seriously, i can't wait to hear about your adventures in a new place and with #3 - and i am sure i am not alone.
